Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026 · Nexgen AI is operated by Jamite Digital Solutions ("we", "us").

This policy explains what information Nexgen AI ("Nexgen", "the app", available at nexgenai.pages.dev) collects, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it plainly.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Account information

If you create an account with an email address and password, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and are never visible to us.

1.2 Google sign-in data

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares with us your email address, your name and profile picture URL (the standard openid, email and profile scopes). We use this solely to create and identify your Nexgen account. We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service data, and we never see your Google password.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide the service (our authentication provider), do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law.

1.3 Conversations and attachments

Everything you type, dictate, or attach (documents, images, zips) is part of a conversation. Conversations are always stored in your browser's local storage. If you are signed in, each conversation is also stored on our server so you can open it on another device. Guests' conversations are never uploaded.

1.4 Profile and preferences

The name and personal preferences you enter under Profile, plus app settings (font, reasoning effort, voice), are stored in your browser only and are included in the instructions sent to the AI model so it can personalise replies.

1.5 Technical data

Our server records the IP address and time of requests in memory to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. Our hosting providers (Render, Cloudflare) keep standard access logs under their own policies.

2. How we use information

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not use your conversations to train or fine-tune AI models.

3. Who we share information with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Nexgen, and only what each one needs:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of users or the public. We do not sell personal information.

4. Where data is stored and for how long

Our providers may host data outside your country (including the United States and the European Union).

5. Security

All traffic between your browser, our server and our providers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. Access to the database is restricted to our server; browsers never talk to the database directly. AI provider keys are held only on the server. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or Nigeria under the NDPA), you may have additional legal rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

7. Children

Nexgen is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. AI-generated content

Nexgen's replies are generated by AI and can be wrong. Do not share sensitive personal, medical, legal or financial information you would not want processed by an AI provider, and always verify important answers.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced inside the app.
